EIoV-680N IoV Development Platform

EIoV-680N is a development system platform based on a comprehensive V2X (vehicle-to-universal) in-vehicle unit, it features as followings:

  1. It compliants with Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) applications in standard compliance IEEE, 1609.x protocol stack and J2735 messages)

  2. With an intuitive V2X cast® solution, it provides ready-to-use V2X communication services. 

  3. It supports the most application flexibility for the development of IoV Ecology system.

  4. It supports the message transmission of between Vehicles (V2V)

  5. It supports the message transmission of between Vehicles and Infrastructure (V2I).

  6. It provides the Signal status and the number of seconds remaining of the traffic light.

  7. The screen displays the Crossroads, as well as the vehicles information, the status of the vehicle can be controlled according to the Configuration Parameters settings of the Speed, Orientation and the Angle of the Steering Wheel.

  8. the movement of the Simulated Vehicles can be controlled by each side, there will be a warning message generated to prompt of "Possible collisions" when two vehicles are too close.。

  9. during the movement the system will prompt the traffic light signal message in front of the car, and the information of the configurated traffic signs for the Simulated Vehicle.

  10. DriveSim System can be applied to this Simulation Training / Development Platform by the manipulation of Steering Wheel, Accelerator pedal, Brake pedal, Gear Shifting device.

  11. OBDsim680C system can also be combined applied to this platform, i.e. some configurated speed related signals can be sent to DriveSim for displaying as well as to control the Simulated-Vehicle.

  12. Some traffic signs: Pedestrian crossing sign, Speed limit sign, Construction area sign, Slippery road sign, Vehicle sign, traffic light signal can be used to prompt for the Simulated-Vehicle, as well as its coordinate (Position, Longitude, Latitude), it can also prompt the message of "an Object ahead" by triggering the built-in radar.

  13. There is a built-in compact radar in the system, it detects any movement of object or human, and then to generate a prompt of " Possible Collision" for the Simulated-Vehicle.

  14. The system uses the format of GPS coordinate (Longitude and Latitude), the Coordinates of Starting position and Ending position can be set by Longitude and Latitude Configuration Setting Table on the screen.

Introduction to the Function Screens:

1. Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) applications in standard compliance IEEE 1609.x protocol stack and J2735 messages.

2. Enables V2X on external host device with no impact on existing system architecture: Simply connect external  host device to OBU-301U with preloaded V2Xcast service, and deploy V2Xcast SDK in the external host device which allows it to send and receive J2735 compliant messages.
