Product Description

Description

The Demo Rover is the perfect base for your product exhibition. Its main features include a complete CAN system integrated into a robust aluminum chassis designed for durability and flexibility. The Rover is driven by an Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) controlling a high-performance engine, and has a powerful steering servo for controlling the wheels. These key components combine to deliver a reliable and versatile tool for showcasing various CAN or automotive products in a creative, eye-catching manner.

Ideal for those who want to showcase new products, the CAN Rover provides a flexible platform for innovation. This versatile product lays the groundwork for your ambitious projects. Included in this package is a complete CAN system, a chassis, an engine, an Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) and a steering servo.

The CAN system consists of two control modules based on the STM32F3 MCU coupled with 4 D-SUB interfaces. Besides CAN communication, the modules provide a PWM interface for controlling hobby servos and ESCs, a sensor input, SPI and I2C interfaces, and built-in voltage and current measurement capabilities.

The chassis is what makes the Rover unique. It’s a durable, adaptable structure designed to accommodate various components and withstand rigorous testing. Made with high-quality materials, it’s ideal for customization, allowing easy integration of additional elements like sensors or actuators. This platform is the perfect starting point for integrating additional hardware and trying it out.

The engine of the Rover is a robust, high-performance brushless DC motor. With an operational voltage range of 7.4-50 V and a maximum power of 3000 W, it provides strong, consistent propulsion to the Rover. Its high-efficiency rate (92%) and capacity to operate under high temperature (up to 130 °C) ensure reliable performance in various conditions.

The ESC in the CAN Rover manages the energy flow from the battery to the brushless DC motor. It can handle a continuous current of 120A and peaks up to 650A, providing precise control over the Rover’s speed. Compatible with both sensored and sensorless brushless motors, the ESC ensures efficient and smooth operation of the Rover under various conditions.
