Minimum Quantity Required: 10 chips.
The ESP32 is a single chip solution that combines Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi capabilities. It is designed to perform extremely efficiently with its TSMC ultra low power 40 nm technology. This chip can be used for a variety of applications due to its durability, versatility, RF performance, wide-set of features, and different power profiles.
ESP32 contains less than 10 external components, making it an advanced solution for the Internet of Things (IoT) with its multitude of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth applications. The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) area contains the antenna switch, power amplifier, RF balun, filters, low noise receive amplifier, as well as power management modules. For single-chip integration of radio and base-band, the ESP32 utilizes CMOS. The integrated advanced calibration circuits make this chip capable of dynamically adjusting itself to external conditions, as well as being able to remove external circuit imperfections. This means that the mass production of ESP32 solutions will not require the use of expensive Wi-Fi testing equipment.
This chip is an advanced low power chip that is perfect for wearable electronics, mobile applications, and IoT solutions. Other powerful features include multiple power modes, dynamic power scaling, and fine resolution clock gating. In the situation of a low-power IoT sensor hub, the ESP32 would be woken up whenever a specified condition was detected. The amount of energy that the chip uses is reduced during this process due to the use of the low duty cycle. In addition, the output power of the power amplifier can be adjusted to achieve an optimal trade-off between power consumption, data rate, and communication range.
This module allows for the support of leading industry smart home standards including Apple HomeKit.
