Description

The Kvaser Edge WL420S is a rugged, IP67-rated Linux based Edge computer that is targeted at telematic, logging, and controls applications for vehicles, primarily within the automotive, off-highway, rail, marine and industrial markets.

The WL420S features a powerful i.MX8 multicore processor with integrated NPU, four galvanically isolated CAN/CAN FD ports, two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, WiFi 6, GNSS positioning, and an onboard IMU.

Running the Linux-based operating system Kvaser Edge OS (KEOS), the WL420S supports multiple Linux distributions and integrated container technology for secure deployment of custom applications.

The WL420S is well suited for both advanced development projects and large-scale production deployments.
